All Tuffie Jr. toys are made with two layers. One layer of industrial grade nyon, and the second layer is made of soft fleece on the outside. Both of these layers are sewn together (think quilted!) to make one super strong layer of material. Each toy is sewn with two layers of cross stitching and then two laters of linear stitching. After it is sewn together an additional piece of black nylon trim is added to cover the four rows of stitching. The squeakers - the favorite part for most dogs! - are sewn inside in their own compartments within the toy. Each toy is washable (air dry please!) and floats!
